Starting to get a bit more of a feel for it now, I'm really enjoying how the paper contorts along curved score lines. It does seem hard to predict and master though.
So yeah, still feeling a bit intimidated by the infinite but yet somehow elusive possibilities of paper. I didnt really get much done in this workshop that i was happy enough with to keep, apart from this little fella who looks a bit like an elephant's (or maybe a turkey's) face, which is always nice. It has very little to do with repetition though...
Yeah, so workshop number 1. I wasn't really sure what to make of this paper engineering malarchy, i felt completely out of my comfort zone with it, like i was just staring blankly at the paper without a clue what to do with it. That said, I really like how skeletal some of these look, even if they were compete flukes!
