So, I thought i might have me a little look at some honeycomb structures. Lots of repetition and interesting formations.
I spent ages cutting out and assembling each individual hexagonal tube separately then I glued them all together to make a giant honeycomb. I wish i had taken some photos of it at this point because it looked a lot better before I had a rush of blood to the head and decided it would look more interesting if I randomly cut chunks out of it. It looks a bit like one of those plastic desk tidies now.
